Brand

The Latinva® Dance Fitness brand, trademarks and our logo are extremely important assets and are vital to the unique image that identifies Latinva in the fitness, health and wellness industries.

Mission

Latinva is dedicated to help people achieve a healthy life…one dance step at a time.

Positioning

Latinva will work with each instructor and student to help them achieve their fitness goals and well-being.

Strategy

Latinva will provide high quality and effective fitness dance workout workshops to its instructors and high quality and effective fitness dance workout programs to its students.

License Terms

The following terms apply to the Latinva License Agreement:

• Latinva® and the Latinva Dance Fitness logos are trademarks of Tin-va Latin, LLC.
• Tin-va® Latin, LLC owns the Latinva^TM and Latinva® Trademarks and Marks. 
• Non-exclusive, non-transferable license, without warranty, for certified instructors to use the Trademarks and Marks to promote Latinva Dance Fitness classes.
• The license applies to the term of the Workshop Certification of one-year. 
• The Latinva Trademarks and Marks may not be used in combination with any other trademarks, service marks, or other terms unless approved in writing by Latinva.
• The Latinva Trademarks and Marks are permitted to be used in radio or television advertising only with prior written consent by Latinva.
• The Latinva Trademarks and Marks may not be used to manufacture, create or distribute any merchandise or other promotional items without prior written consent by Latinva. This includes clothing, accessories, etc.
• The Latinva Trademarks and Marks may not be used for Internet Videos. The Internet Videos may be used to promote and demonstrate the instructor’s Latinva Dance Fitness classes.
• Instructor acknowledges and agrees that Latinva Dance Fitness may not be safe or appropriate for everyone, and further acknowledges; that instructor has been encouraged to seek the advice of a physician or qualified healthcare professional prior to being certified as an Instructor.
• Instructor shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Latinva and any of its affiliates along with their directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs) that they may suffer as a result of any claims, demands, actions or other proceedings made or instituted by a third party against any of them that arises out of any breach by instructor or from any other act of malfeasance or nonfeasance on the part of Instructor.

Trademarks

The terms “Trademark” and “Mark” are commonly used to refer to both trademarks:

• Trademark (^TM) – a name, slogan or logo used to identify goods.
• Registered ® – a trademark that has been federally registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

  Proper use of marks helps protect our intellectual property rights.

  How to Use:

  Use a trademark of service mark as an adjective to describe the program or service.

  • Latinva® Dance Fitness
  • Latinva Fitness™
  • Rock it with Latinva™
  • Rock it like a Dance Star™
  • From Fitness Club to Dance Club™
  • Get with the Rhythm…Get with Latinva!

  Where to Use:

  Apply marks on all internal and external material.

  • Print: Insert Registered Trademark the first time the program or service appears or is displayed prominently. In long documents, also use occasionally throughout.
  • Website: Insert Registered Trademark the first the program or service appears on each web page.
  • Variations: No possessive, plural, acronym or shortened forms for name is allowed:
    • For example: Latinva’s Dance Fitness program is great.
    • Reword it to: The Latinva Dance Fitness program is great.
  • Corporate legal names do not get marks:
    • Tin-va Latin, LLC

  Who May Use:

  The following are allowed to use the Latinva Dance Fitness Trademark and Logo:

  • Certified Instructors (active and current certification only).
  • Anyone licensed by Latinva Dance Fitness.
